Song, a vocal critic of Ethereum and the DApp model, bet that there would not be at least 5 DApps with 10k daily active users (DAUs) by 2023. Alex Wearn, Co-Founder and & CEO of IDEX, one of the most successful DApp, shares some thoughts on relevant metrics to measure DApp usage and potential outcome of the bet.

  • Hans Hauge, senior quant researcher at Ikigai, released a framework for quantifying demand of bitcoin using new metrics Binary Adjusted Bitcoin Days Destroyed, Value of Coin Days Destroyed (VOCD) and Reserve Risk. TL;DR for non-quants: metrics indicate that the market bottom is behind us.
